The place had some charm and the staff was friendly. the dinner was an eleven-course feast, and each dish was introduced by the chef. the location was remote, giving guests a chance to explore the surrounding nature and take part in activities like hiking, hot springs, and guided tours of the village. Our room had a mix of old and new features and came equipped with appliances by Balmuda and furniture designed by Verner Panton.

I found sleeping in the room uncomfortable as the windows were only in the hallway, making it dark and without any natural air flow.

The stay was quite enjoyable, with an 11-course dinner that was simply amazing. The old house was very beautifully designed, with modern amenities added while still maintaining the original character. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. E-bikes were provided, making it easy to explore the area.

The lack of windows in the bedroom and living room made them a bit dark and dreary. It was a bit of a downside and hindered enjoyment a little.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful village surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want to escape from the busy city life. The staff was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The best aspects of our stay were definitely the 11-course dinner, which was beautifully prepared and introduced by the chef himself, and the free usage of e-bikes which allowed us to explore the village and its surroundings.

One of the worst aspects of our stay was the lack of windows in our bedroom/living room, which made it quite dark and gloomy. We should have seen this on the pictures, but we didn't, so make sure to check before booking. However, the beautiful nature surrounding the rooms made up for it, and we would definitely recommend getting a room with a view.
